Cheers TV Show 6 ft Cigar Store Indian Hand Carved Wooden Replica
Own a piece of Southwestern Americana history! This fabulous Cigar Store Indian Chief is a replica of the one used on the TV show Cheers, hand carved by the Gallaghers, the originators of the iconic Cigar store wooden Indians that decorated the tobacco stores and trading posts in the Southwest. They had carved this specifically for the show.
Hand carved out of one piece of Colorado Aspen. Colorado Aspen is the preferred material for these cigar store Indian sculptures. Hand painted with intricate details, a buffalo motif breast plate and signed on the back by the master carver Frank Gallagher. Measures approx 6 feet tall, including base, x 13 1/2" wide.
(Natural wood does get a crack here and there on occasion. Please be assured it is a natural process and not a defect. Your item may be slightly lighter than pictured. Color will darken over time and start to look more aged and vintage.)
